This Lasers and Feelings hack, inspired by the world of the Witcher books and games, doesn't focus exactly on "killing monsters".

  • Players take the role of Hunters, trying to earn coin by hunting dangerous creatures.
  • Not all evil-looking creatures are monsters, and not all monsters look like creatures. Sometimes, the real monsters are the ones holding the coin themselves.
  • Talk to the locals, see what rumors they have about the case, and see if the creature really does deserve to be slayed, or maybe they can be dealt with in some other way

This game comes with two adventures ready to be played! Players, try not to read these adventures, as the mystery will be spoiled to you.

  • The Moon Punisher: a werewolf is said to be murdering one person every month during the full moon
  • Cold Embrace: a grieving woman is using her witchcraft to take revenge after her beloved abandoned her.

I really appreciate your use of art and symbols to make the whole sheet more interesting but there are several other design elements that detract from the beauty of the piece. Primarily I am talking about the large gaps within paragraphs which makes them more square but otherwise gives a sense of clutter even though there really is not that much on a page. I enjoy your inspiration, execution of core mechanics and explaining how those mechanics work but the awkwardness makes it less interesting for me. Still, the three folding piece and atmosphere is a really good base. I hope to see more from you :)

Thanks for the honest review! As someone who has little to no experience in graphic design, the structure of the file was a struggle, and it was the thing that took the longest to do. So i appreciate the input! Will definitely keep that in mind next time, as the last thing i want is for a graphic decision to take away from the game experience.
